PerlSource instructors have Ph.D.s in Molecular Biology, Immunology and Microbiology and have received advanced training in diverse modern biology areas such as Gene therapy, Virology, Genomics and Bioinformatics from organizations such as Cold Spring Harbor Laboratory, MIT, Dana-Farber Cancer Institute, Harvard Medical School and University of Rochester and from major Biopharmaceutical companies such as OSI Pharmaceuticals, Millennium Pharmaceuticals/The Takeda Oncology Company, Applied Biosystems, Wyeth Research and Compound Therapeutics/Adnexus Therapeutics.

Our instructors each have more than 10 years of experience in specialized subjects such as bioinformatics, genomics, pharmacology, drug formulation, knowledge management, healthcare and life science consulting, and technology development.and have peer-reviewed publications in American and European journals. They have been actively involved in analyzing human, mouse, zebrafish and plant genome data for sequence analysis and annotation, functional genomics andfor data mining for new target identification for therapy of cancer, infectious disease and metabolic disorders.
