our team for part-time positions as Content providers/Course/Software
developers. Applicants must have strong computing skills with several years of
J2EE/.NET/C++ or Perl programming experience. Some knowledge of biology
would be helpful.
We welcome proposals from businesses to set up collaborative projects with

an internship. Applicants are expected to have strong Information Technology/Computer Science/
Molecular Biology backgrounds and an avid interest in
developing applications for Genomics/Bioinformatics. This is a unique
opportunity for professionals who can quickly use their skills to create software
that can be licensed to the academia or the industry. In addition, there is the
opportunity to publish research papers in renowned peer reviewed journals in
the field.
Our projects are directed towards solving problems associated with
biological information gathering, data processing, mining and analysis that are
currently faced by the Biotech industry. The information may be related to
specific pathogenic organisms, gene or protein families, protein-protein
interactions and signal transduction pathways in health and disease, to
biomedical literature in general or specific areas such as SNPs and splice
variants.
